For the second time, the\u00a0Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation FIHF<\/b>\u00a0participated in a segment of the\u00a0Projeto de Atua\u00e7\u00e3o em Rede<\/b>\u00a0(Acting-in-Networks Project). The first time was in Roraima, in November 2018 and this one, on November 20 and 21 of this year, took place in Brasilia.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The project lasted for 18 months, and had branches in 12 Brazilian capitals, including Roraima and Manaus, where the Fraternidade International FIHF<\/strong> already works.<\/p>\n

In this closing segment, there was training for people who provide welcoming, reception and sheltering to refugees in Brazil.<\/p>\n

There was also a compilation of ideas and proposals that emerged during the project.<\/p>\n

The Fraternidade International FIHF<\/strong> was mentioned as one of the organizations specialized in the sector of sheltering in migration, mainly in the Venezuelan flow, which is the most intense in Brazil today.<\/p>\n

During the event, topics were discussed, such as the struggle against discrimination, intolerance, racism and xenophobia, as well as the access to\u00a0human rights, immersion into the world of jobs, struggle against the trafficking of people and work similar to slavery, among other important issues that concern the welcoming and interiorization of the migrant population.<\/p>\n

Through the discussed proposal, the perspective is that a Northern Region Network of migration be organized with meetings, so that organizations of the civil society, the public power and international agencies that collaborate in the migratory flow in the Northern Region of Brazil can participate in an integrated way in the reception of these migrant populations, both of Indigenous and non-Indigenous origin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
