For the pilgrim a test
Not to have any novelty that encourages the pilgrim and that makes them walk consists of a test to them, as they must, even so, remain faithful to the goal they have decided to fulfill. Their consciousness needs to remain in the essential and not embark on activities that are not really necessary. To all, including those who are ruled by the energy of activity, the moment comes to cease movements and wait for a greater Light to indicate them the direction to follow.
Faithfulness to the goal
Faithfulness to the goal is obtained more easily when the boat sails quickly, with clear horizon and clean sky, or amidst storms, in which the effort and the ability of the sailors are required to the utmost, than when the sea calms down, the waves disappear and there is no breeze blowing the sails of the boat. At these moments, vigilance must be kept, the ardor expanded with the intention of donating more and more of self to the Supreme Being and of not letting themselves be taken by the apparent slowness of the trip.
Greater responsibility
The closer the being is from participating in the Work of Spirituality, the greater the responsibility that will be given to the them, and also the greater influence they will exert over everything this work involves.
The real transformations of humanity do not occur because everyone wants them, but rather because one, or a few, want it so much intensity, as if everyone wanted it.
Can there be greater gratitude than the one that is born from a heart touched by the Presence? Greater faith than the one they have, who, walking in the dark, seek the light?
I tell you a story
I tell you a story: A peasant was returning home after long and exhausting workday. The sun was already setting in the horizon and a gentle breeze was announcing the night. But suddenly the sky was veiled, a strong wind began to blow and, with much lightning and a lot of thunders, a pouring rain fell.
The peasant was alone in the desert road; he had nowhere to shelter, not how to protect from the cold. What would you do in this situation?
In the times that approach, it is necessary wholehearted experience of faith, thorough self-forgetting, unshakeable certainty that one is being guided, and unconditional obedience to the inner indications. Miracles will arise on the surface of the Earth like celestial flowers amidst the bitter ashes of human living. Leave the negligible, for Infinity to approach.
The spiritual path
is a path without promises
The spiritual path is a path without promises. On it, the pilgrim must enter without any expectation. What is permitted to be known by them in advance is that this path is of renunciation, of self-forgetting, of overcoming of one’s own limitations. Few are those who accept such conditions; nevertheless, unlimited are the gifts derived from those who tread it.
The great secret
kept in the center of the sacred flower
Step by step, the illusions are removed from the beings who still live their immature aspects, such as desires and plans, gradually revealing the beauty that exists in their own inner worlds. Little by little, the great secret kept in the center of the sacred flower is unveiled to them.
The pilgrim does not expect any accomplishment; once a chalice, they have become wide and unobstructed channel to retain nothing, but to be always open to the flow of the sap of life. They do not try to see, hear, feel or touch anything with the aim of personal delight, but they rather allow the energy to draw near, involve them and pervade them, as they do not know anything except what is revealed by it.
They have been lifted from darkness by this energy, by it they have been conducted to the inner path and, under its guidance, they treat this path.
