A contingent mission of humanitarian assistance dedicated to the most vulnerable and disabled. The activities were carried out in support to the work of the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. The work of volunteers of Fraternidade had mainly focused on aiding institutions (a hospital, a home for the elderly and a prison) in the city of Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. One of the first missions of Fraternidade that deepened its offering of unconditional and selfless service, this time specially bringing music as an instrument of healing and relief for human pain.

Activities:

  • Assistance to the internees of a prison in the city.
  • Visits and support to patients at a hospital.
  • Attendance to the population that lives in the streets.
