Date: April 2015
Place: Kampala, Uganda
The main focus of this mission, of contingent character, was the work dedicated to the House-Shelter of the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, located in the capital of Uganda, Kampala. Where conflicts and religious and political disputes had destroyed a nation, the attributes of love and of unity were imperiously worked, cultivated in all practical daily actions. In this place of service, the missionaries had contact with groups of tremendously disabled individuals, both physically and mentally, and they could provide various kinds of cares and attention by means of playful fraternal practices.
- Attention and cares to wheelchair users and the physically disabled.
- Psychophysical stimulation to the internees by means of recreational and educational activities.
- Works of maintenance and adjustment of infrastructure of the institution.
- Participation in commemorative dates with the local community.
