The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federationwill organize on the 28 and 29 of this month, at Community-of-Light of Figueira, close to the town of Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the Meeting of Interviewers. More than 50 people are expected and more than one hundred connected via transmission for the meeting.they will be interviewers, coordinators and members of secretaries of all the communities belonging to the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation.
The meeting will be held by Friar Supremo, member of the Council of Regency and Mirnuk, Institutional Manager, both of the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation.the aim of the meeting is to deepen the formation of the interviewers, persons who refer to the Communities-of-Light all those who want to know the work.
The task of an interviewer has existed since the foundation of Figueira, in 1989. Germano Resende is a resident member and a member of the general reception sector of the Community-of-Light of Figueira. He has been a part of the work for more than 30 years, even before the foundation of the community, and explains how the activity of interviewer was at that time: “we had the volunteers who had already participated in the work for several years.they gave information to the person as to how to arrive at the farm and to know beforehand a little about what happened at the community”.
To Germano, one of the main characteristics of the interviewer is an inner one: “the main thing is being connected with one’s own Inner Being and also with the soul of the person that is searching for the Spiritual Center”, he concludes.
