In order to offer a new opportunity to bring the outer public closer to the Community and its events, the new site brings together news, music, updated schedules, and exclusive videos.
“We want the service that we provide to be accessible to more people and they have the opportunity of getting to know the Community, and participating in some way,” affirms the coordinator of the sector of communication, Nadia Malagutti Moya (Maria de La Luz).
The launching of the new website took place on September 2, 2019. From the homepage, the public will also be able to check out the latest institutional video produced by volunteer communicators of the Community.
Located among the mountains of Serra do Capim, the Light-Community of the New Earth is in the Gamboa Valley in Teresopolis, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Living here are about 45 foster children of Pama, one of the founders of the Crer-Sendo Service Nucleus, as the Community is also known.
As well as the work in education with the Parque Tibetano Live School, the group is also active in caring for three hundred animals of different species that were rescued from situations of abuse and abandonment.
The Community is affiliated with Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, and the whole project is supported through donations and partnerships.
