The Humanitarian Missions and the Missionaries of Peace
Among the countless opportunities of expressing a fraternal life, devoted to the common good.
The Humanitarian Missions represent a significant example of this work of self-donation and service to one’s neighbor.
Being a Missionary of Peace is to be totally available and ready to help the neediest, in any place in the world, at any time and to do what is necessary. Provided that such humanitarian tasks are inspired by the Spiritual Hierarchies, who from the inner planes lead and support the works.
- “A Missionary of Peace is the one who fulfills their mission before God and that helps Him so that other souls may awaken to their own mission”.
- “Missionary of Peace is the one who dissolves barriers, the limits and, through the love that is born in their heart, is a bearer of God for all the creatures”.

The work of the Missionaries of Peace is not limited to the Humanitarian Missions, but also expands to include countless other tasks, which aim at taking care of the human, animal, plant and mineral kingdoms. These other tasks, carried out in donation and as an offering to the One and Only Life, are given the name of Permanent Missions.
They are comprised of services rendered on a daily basis by the Missionaries of Peace, in the Houses of Saint Joseph for Humanitarian Help, in Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and coordinated by Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation.
